Not Waving

Not Waving is an interactive artwork that explores the relationship between our awareness of and our effect on environmental issues. The artwork sees a water boiler perched above a community of perilously-housed micropeople on icebergs. By listening to Twitter, the work judges the degree of activity in the Twittersphere, releasing water onto if there is unsufficient Tweeting about water and inviting the audience to take action: #water, #savethemicropeople. No hashtag?
