Ineffable

"Ineffable" was based on the form of a simple folded shirt, this work aims to evoke how precious an item of clothing can be, when holding the memory and revealing the absence of an individual. The work encapsulates the preciousness of my memories. By deconstructing the garment and layering and folding the beads in this work I found new ways to re-build it, which helped me to process loss, accepting the absence of a body and embracing the presence of memory.
