In geometry, a translation is an affine transformation of the space, which moves all the points of a fixed distance in the same direction. From this concept, it begins the path of this series of images dedicated to the impression that an image leaves in our vision. Runing on landscapes of whom we cannot intuit the boundaries, to capture the atmosphere of these portraits of contemporary impression. What remains on the sheet photo has the same feelings and the same perceptions that those late nineteenth-century painters conveyed with their webs: seize the moment, the moment as it presents itself, but by shifting the point of view, that is no longer static, but dynamic enough to move faster than the eye gaze to chase a view from the window of a train or a car. And it is in this translation of the image that we capture the relationship between the original landscape and the final image while also allowing what was outside the context of entering into the composition. These movements allow the D’Orta’s depth study of the area, in this case outside of the metropolitan city , through perceptual maps
