The search for Daniele Calvani employs the use of a particular photographic technique combined with a great deal of improvisation.
Another significant ingredient is "the case", which is entrusted great importance. Through the shot with very long time and with the machine in motion the colors of solid objects lose their texture, they dilate, liquefy, blend together, assume nuances often unexpected!
The reality or simply the concrete object considered is transformed, loses its physical characteristics, remaining sometimes only a distant track difficult to decipher.
Sometimes the work remains anchored to the image concrete but also in this case the compositional effect always assumes the main protagonist and the primary color pad.
The first phase is followed by another more properly artistic reasoned: the choice of the shots, their combination in various compositions (collage, overlay or when it detects a single-shot).
The size of the works they want to help achieve ultimate intent: total immersion as you look at the work in its colors and its geometry.
Daniele Calvani was born in Lugagnano Val D'Arda on 4/10/1967 and lives in Massa, Via Puliche, 69. Always art lover has devoted himself for years, following various courses in Italian, the iconographic painting.
Since 2005 he was introduced to photography and from 2014 only deepened the shooting technique with the camera moving.
A technique that allow you to play and improvise with maximum freedom with color. And resorting to the overlapping of photographic images - it reads overlapping layers of color - towards the creation of the final work, typical of the pictorial work (especially of the illustrations).
