The work Fission consists of four frames containing autoradiographies produced using the radiation of uranium ores from all major uranium mines on the globe. All four segments are installed tilted at a 90 degree angle, thus forming a complete circle inside an inclined square. Implicitly repetitive, the radiation of the ores leave trace shadows of the invisible on the paper: patterns of ostensible duplication. Fission addresses visual concepts of geometric abstraction, order and repetition, subliminally articulating the essence of that which is beyond our perceptive capacities.
