I see people, road workers busy cleaning up what perhaps may have been a minor disaster, an oil spill after an accident. People do what they do, unaware of what they are, where they come from, preoccupied by the logics of the moment. For me your editing - the best word coming to mind is the German term "Verfremdung" enhances this effect of, so to say, freezing an infinitesimally small section of a world line... I hope that makes sense (and why the heck is there a word limit... 800 characters is nothing...).
This was the first of your works that caught my attention. As I told you I hold the view that every place on Earth (or in the Universe) is fascinating and exotic from the point of view of most other places. All we have to do is look, open our eyes, pay attention, be mindful. In street photography ordinary moments are frozen - moments that, to stay true to my "philosophical" views - are the manifestation of the entire evolution of the universe, all the way from the big bang to that very split second when the camera trigger was pressed.
Atmospheric, very strong effect, amazing work,...The traffic light is on stop, I wonder how important this is to the story would a go or amber light, make a difference?
