Experience of flow and motion.
A big part of this piece is research and chance. The shapes are the outcome of my experiments and experiences, detonated mostly by simple acts of observation and curiosity. Chance plays a major role in this piece; imagination and game intertwine in this show of shapes, color and textures that resemble clouds, smoke and ink flowing in water. It reflects my interest in sensorial experience, how imagination can be triggered and stimulated in a similar fashion that children use while cloud watching.
It’s the exposure of the shapes that seemingly appear out of nowhere.
