Klaus Bittner, about me:
I am a multi-disciplinary artist living and working in Frankfurt/Germany in the fields of photography, digital art, painting, drawing, installation, objects and land art.
since 1971 46 solo exhibitions in Germany, Italy, USA, Spain, France.
107 group exhibitions and art projects in Germany and foreign countries.
For Celeste-Streamers I have chosen a special series, called “Cherry Pits”, which is showing the development of the digital work from the original photography to the final images. The basic of these final images is only one photography, which is digitally formed by transformation to new, abstract images.

Photography-Digital Art:
After consumption of fruit, vegetables and salad often residues are remaining, which look plain at first glance and will be quickly disposed as waste. By looking closely to these residues they turn out to be visual interesting and gave me a base for the digital photography process. By artistic treatment of the photographs on the computer an interesting result was arising, pointing out the positive of the negative, sometimes looking like “Concrete Art” .

For Celeste-Streamers: series „Cherry Pits”
From cherry pits to colour fields - from reality to total abstraction to Concrete Art
The basic of this series is only one original photography made of some cherry pits (no. 1 of the series). This image is digitally processed in different steps from reality to total abstraction. The results are a lot of abstract images, leading to the final pictures “Colour-Fields”, which is a combination of some of these abstract images. The series is showing a selection of the different stages - the phases of development - on the way from reality to total abstraction and to the final images “Colour-Fields”.
