Water Lily IV.

Water Lily IV.

Painting, Still life, Plants , Love, Beauty, Mixed technique, 100x100x5cm
Exhibited at Chateau Rothschild in Austria (Reichenau) in 2016.
The beautiful water lily has different meanings in different cultures - from beauty to enlightenment, it represents emotions and ideas. The scientific name of this flower is Nymphaea. 'Nymph' is of a Greek origin and according to mythology it means a feminine spirit that inhabited water bodies like wells, waterways, and spring. When experimenting with new motifs I was inspired by the impressionists - especially Claude Monet and his water lilies. This painting comes from my collection "Flower Power".
This is an original artwork and it goes with signed Certificate of Authenticity. Ready to hang unframed if preferred.
