Drizzle on the ground
collected in depressions
in dissestamenti
an ancient piancito
by steps consumed
comings and goings of the many passersby
polished marble
from knees in prayer
yellowed walls
engraved songs notes
hatreds raised to the Lord
Christmas in ages past
in the banquet of the peoples
