Chronically Correct
Thanks to an unprecedented wave of consolidation, ten pharmaceutical groups are divided today, 50% of the world market of medicines. The winner of the Nobel Prize in medicine, Richard j. Roberts, denounced the manner in which they operate large pharmaceutical industries in the capitalist system, putting the economic benefits to health and slowing down scientific development in the treatment of diseases, because healing is not fruitful as chronicity.
Researches and experimentations rigged, made-up syndromes, bribery of doctors through awards and conferences studied theoretically, drugs that cost a fortune, drugs that change names and treat different pathologies but are exactly the same, placebo drugs scandals for aids drugs denied on the countries of the South in order not to lose the monopoly, academic appointments, monopoly on research funding, etc.etc.
A monetary type conflict, which cancels the ethics, morality, a conflict between doctors and pharmaceutical companies, a conflict between our confidence and power, a conflict sneaky, obnoxious and less controllable than any other, where the patient becomes client, a turnover marching on our vulnerability, foul play which checkers are people.
