Dead Uniforms

Uniforms containing no bodies, but still full with souls, not of the soldiers, but of the men who once wore these clothes. Every man is different, in spite of what the word “Uniform” wishes to erase: authenticity.
Each individual has a history and a diverse, yet always precious, blood. Therefore Goran Branko Vidovic has a different embroiderer process each pool of blood, manufacturing a varied weave of the doily and therefore giving each bloodstain its specific identity.
