TRANSITOS

Installation, Political / Social, Video installation, 700x300x700cm
The artistic field of Claudia Gambadoro is a oxymoron relationship with the lost and the memory, with the orientation and the disorientation, with the bond and the separation, it is a crossing of permanence and impermanence, center and distance, construction and distruction, saturation and subtraction, it is a crossing of inner nomadisms and of rooting out without choice; of chaos's geometries. A path that brings to became nomadic, foreigner, stateless anywhere, without returns, perpetually wandering.
Transitos, is a complex artwork, thought site specific for the Contemporary Art Museum of Santiago of Chile after an experience of artistic residence, Transitos is structured for subtractions and absences. It is the condensation of a microcosm. It is a dialectics of container and content, looking for the space inside another space. The invention of an different language.
The map of Santiago becomes a box of the memory, a territory in which on arrives as extraneous, a place of no-return. Here lives the loss and the painful necessity of earth in which to found ourselves.
