Food and its preparation is an indicator of our social history. The people who took part in this project belong to the Italian Community in Peterborough and make up a large percentage of my personal family history. They trusted me enough to share some of their home delights from within their own homes and at the ICA to create this book.

The dinner table is for many the one place where all the family come together.
No matter what's going on in your country, community or society you have to get up and put food on the table.
I am truly delighted and honoured to be able to have spent such special times cooking and conversing with them. The artworks are a tribute to them all.
