This is one of many paintings I done in Alviso, California, in National Park. Every time I went to paint the place, a park ranger named Eva will come to talk to me, some times she shared her travel photos with me and other time we talked about wildlife and ranger’s life in general. So I went there often and feel like come to my own garden. About a year after I met her, in a fall season, I painted this beautiful landscape right before sunset, Eva came again stand behind me, "You know.." Eva said "Today is the last day I will be here." then she explained to me that she will be transfer to another National park next week, and she was excited about it, I did not know what to say but did not feel I want to know where she was going to station, but all of a sudden, I want to finish my painting quick and leave the place.
