LIVING FLESH
"Living flesh" (50x80cm) symbolizes the carnality of the road, a place of transit towards life and death. The artwork expresses the visceral need to strip ourselves of all our natural defenses leaving us naked, only flesh and blood compounds at last free to show our vulnerability renouncing perfection. An intimate fiber laceration that will never heal.
In my art street is a symbolic place of transit, of passage, of thoughts, of dreams, of illusions, of tears, of loneliness, in suspension towards our mysteries. The street is part of us, without roads we would be stationary.
Technical details: direct FLAT-BED print with UV ink on transparent methacrylate applied on panel in PVC expanded with back-panel in PVC light. Printed in 6 copies with certificate of authenticity signed by artist.
