Shahnameh-Khani

I am indeed a modern artist but I am concerned about gradual diminishment of useful traditions. Traditions that convey cultural messages from one generation to another that are being ignored as we go further. Shahnameh Khani is my reflection to this concern, trying to bring a traditional event in which people used to gather in a Café and listen to stories of Shahnameh. These stories are mythical stories of ancient Iran and the habit of Shahnameh Khani has almost been forgotten in the society and for younger generations. I would like to show that modernity is not necessarily in contradiction with traditions as I am showing a traditional event with modern forms.
