contemporary doily

The "beautiful object" often carries perversions, meant, uses and customs that at first escape the common aesthetical vision, and the incompatible original material became other, even though always finished, end, precious but cold.
In this case my work takes back one of the classical motives for decoration realized to the crotchet hook: the doily, object all of us have seen and (more or less) appreciated in the typical European houses. My interest in this case is that to attract the attention on marginal, even though fundamental of the society: as the end and the embroidery are to the border of the objects, themes as to know female, the tradition, the pre-arranged roles are for me the drawing of mine to do artistic. You capsize all of this making protagonists the objects that I realize wants to be a ransom for all that female domestic jobs of embellishment of the domestic boundaries, that are too often underestimated. The realization magnified of one of these ends, to be a rose window, wants almost to express my idea of modern decoration.
