This is the static phase of naturography: the media left in nature after being picked are resinated to preserve the exact state. In this case we are faced with a trace of ice, obtained in "negative", allowing the air to react to the part where the ice did not form.

This is the static phase of naturography. The substrates, after the "immersion" phase, are drawn and resinated to preserve the exact state. In this work we clearly see the line separating water and air and the traces of organic underwater life left by paths of macroinvertebrates on the canvas.

Observing matter on the canvas (naturography) is like seeing a small big-bang on which the artist can intervene, but only indirectly.

Such research lays many expressive forms of the 1900s, as well as, of course, painting, environmental art, photography, informal material and above all the conceptual. I chose a new name for these works: naturografie.
