Old face
I tried to give a reading of what I imagined to make the painting vibrant, using a color palette to bring about a dynamic of the painting. There is a moment of reflection and contemplation in painting. When we stop in front of her, something visceral appears ... a certain complicity with the personage painted. I believe it is a mixture of reverence and complicity. There is also a marriage between colors that causes a desire to be observing and seeking points of perception of the process.
I often paint fast, but in this case, I stayed for three months devoting all attention to the work.
