Senza Titolo

Painting, Abstract informal, Memory, Acrylic, 120x160x3cm
In my work process there are no preparatory steps or basic projects, I prefer to look for the randomness and impersonality of materials around me in the studio. I find it more interesting and authentic what comes from a sequence of accidental events and unexpected that from a thought predetermined. The final work is the result of a sum of actions, decisions, mistakes that follow one after the other.
I use and combine simple materials such as acrylic, papers, pencils, spray paint.
Pictures of classical architecture as columns and capitals that often carry over the paint surface with transfer’s technique, represent the past becomes present and that always comes back, constantly.
I want to create around the work a space of silence, promote a different look on reality, a look raw, abstract, thanks to which the world stands under the sign of contemplation: in a sense, it's like the silence that comes after the word.
