Origine: la Misericordia

The diptych "Origine: la Misericordia" is part of a photographic project about the masterpieces of Venetian painting exhibited at Gallerie dell'Accademia and the places they belonged the places they belonged to before the institutionalization of the museum in 1750. A research on the classicism of Serenissima through its Scuole, churches, palazzi and original documents. A project that aims to investigate the different perception of the artwork between past and present, among secular and religious functions retracing these transformed places.
