This is a box in which shut away is a narrative of child sexual abuse. The image - illuminated by an LED - that depicts this narrative is seen when the viewer stoops to look in through the lens in the front of the box. In looking in the viewer becomes complicit in a hidden story. Deleuze argues that engaging emotions involuntarily is a more effective trigger for critical reflection.
