'The Mouse Does Not Dance' is part of a cycle of paintings started in 2017. I'm basically interested in the underlying dynamics of human behavior: inclinations, roles, identities. We live in a state of perpetual dependence, a precarious balance between insanity and uncertainty. I often focus on the persistent condition of existential vacuum, then freeze it within painting.
