MULTIVERSE

MULTIVERSE

Sculpture, Philosophy, 24x24x24cm
In MULTIVERSE the corner stone of a 24x24 cm cube, realized in rusted material is another cube but this time of pure glass.
Just as in Heisenberg's uncertainty principle it is the observer that determines reality, so in "Multiverse" it is the observer who determines the work according to the angle s/he views it from.
If the viewer looks at the work from above s/he can see another cube inside the crystal.
This time, however, it is only drawn with a pure white line so it is an idea of a cube, on whose faces numbers can be read, numbers that govern that particular reality.
However the viwer who looks at the same work from the side will see within the trasparent cube other numbers etched in the cube drawn with a white line. And this is true of viewing from each of the sides in that from each point of observation different numbers can be seen.
So with the same unit, by changing observer and vantage points, reality itself changes.
