Giant Spinosaurus/Last Judgement
What constitutes the work is suspension of dualism, which repeats itself on many different layers. The base idea is conjunction of Evolutionism and Creationism, two myths about the origins of humanity and two supposedly contradictory belief systems. These myths happen to correlate in several points. The extinction of dinosaurs was one of the main pre-requisites for humanity to occur, Nietzche's statement that "God is dead" was one the main pre-requisites for contemporary thought. Lacan claims that the true formulae of atheism is not "God is dead", but "God is unconscious" and there's a neuroscientific theory that names the most unconscious part of our brains "reptilian brain".
Formally and visually, this suspension of dualism happens as well. The works are simultaneously 2D and 3D, as puzzles they are simultaneously collected and not-collected. Each individual detail is fixed with a pin, but its shadow changes. Visually, they are simultaneously bright and flimsy, and white-minimalist-cubes. In the process of the making the work there's the lazy act of using a ready-made and meticulous painting with a tiny brush.
