Introducing Pipit's works of beautiful sceneries of Aix en Provence & Grenoble which were painted about 10 years ago before she visits France. Pipit was interested in southern Europe since childhood. For example, when the landscape of Southern Europe came out with TV commercial, she moved to tears. Unlike Japanese she ate more bread than rice and there were many more memories. While she continue painting, she has a new style of painting beginning of this century. She began to draw the landscape of Europe that she has never seen yet. Between year of 2000 and 2005, she made over 2000 artworks of European landscapes after looking at European photos on the books. Looking at those landscape paintings that she made in the past, some look like the sceneries in Provence and Grenoble where she is visiting. These works were posted below. As she wrote an article in her blog about the " memory of the soul", she believes that many of her art are being created from the memory of the soul. A new work is born even now in this Provence ...
