Invasium
We reclaimed a series of chinese massproduction vases.
We first had to remove the glazed chinese drawings by manually sanding up the vases.
Then we collected chinese logos from their own fake counterfeit products and arranged them into a chinese-like design.
We then had to bake the vases again in the oven and we were finished.
The vases can be seen like amphora vases that have all kind of stories and actions depicted on them as glorious memories.
With this work Diva Benini tries to react on the shameless copycat attitude that shows no respect to moral, environmental and global rules.
Just like an invasion.
