Il muro
The painting is an aerial view of the wall built on the border of Hungary, strongly desired by the hungarian government and by its prime minister Orban to counter and if possible stop migratory inflows.
I chose this image because while in an era in which, thanks to the diffusion of Internet and new technologies, all spazio - temporal and virtual distances seems to fall in favor of greater comprehension, awareness and global knowledge, new walls, this time physical reappear all horizon, erected to try stop a migratory process that is above all historical and to keep its power intact.
History has already taught it can not be stopped with the walls ( as evidenced by the Berlin wall ), but if history is forgotten or deliberately set aside for the most varied reasons, many ghosts of the past can re-emerge.
