Under the Cave ( 60x80cm, Oil on Canvas, 2016 )

In "Under the Cave" the hexagon once again emphasizes the importance of not being satisfied with superficial vision, uncontaminated and harmonious nature;
the hexagonal composition with its surreally arched structure, endowed with its own gravity, suggests going further and looking through the clear waters, the deep cavern, the unknown dark abyss, and this is how the picture doubles by deceiving the perspective and comparing two totally opposite realities. The birth of a similar painting, thanks to the automatism method, underlines the archetype of the search for a personal identity in a period of inner conflict. The aim is to mature a situation through a dream-like level that seems harmonious and peaceful but that in reality conceals pitfalls, perhaps deliberately hidden.
