La Vita Prima del Progresso

This painting, or rather, one similar to it, made its way to my studio for repairs. I was so taken with its bucolic reminiscence that I decided to make a study of it. In the process, I learned a lot about this (unknown) artist’s style, and came to a greater appreciation of the mastery involved in its creation. Perhaps best of all, I got to explore the landscape of this old world scene. I dubbed my version of this painting “Life Before Progress.”
