Two levels
In this diptych two different realities coexist which in turn allow access to further realities. The lower part of the picture represents mainly a desolate, desert land, from which life forms emerge. The upper part is an apocalyptic scene, the storm looms and both the suspended island and the totem could be swallowed at any moment.
This diptych represents an important period of transition and change (conclusion of my thesis and beginning of the contract with the first art gallery).
The island represents myself in a moment of fragility and change.
The current situation in Italy leaves little room for emerging artists and this is a cause of great anxiety for those who leave an academic reality and want to establish themselves in the art market.
