In the Sami language, the Northern Lights are called 'Guovssahas' and mean 'the light you can hear'. Norway with its natural, morphological and landscape characteristics has led me to reflect on two elements: silence and light. To represent these two elements a material and a color: the sponge and the blue. The sponge is an insulating material that protects against noise as does nature. Blue is the ice color of the areas near the Arctic Circle and the color of the eyes of the highest percentage of population in Europe. Silence and light are two fundamental elements for man and for nature. Responsible for the lack or excess of one or the other, we are often only ourselves. The human being is always in constant motion: as the icy masses that break away from the glaciers create sudden crevasses and establish new balances, so man restores silence where there is noise and light where there is darkness, sometimes preferring darkness to listen to the light of words.
