On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2020, dedicated this year to the theme of heritage education, the Vallicelliana Library on Saturday 26 September 2020 will make an extraordinary opening to the public. Conversations around the art and ancient wisdom of the Cabbalà by Letizia Ardillo, on the sidelines of the Visions exhibition - for the OPERA 00/20 review curated by Paola Paesano - dedicated to the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet which presents works by the artist and texts by Yarona Pinhas. The lost property department
During our existence, in our wandering between one experience and another, we are looking for a "something". This "something" has no name, no address, no time but its presence is so strong that it marks our life. It is a kind of future nostalgia, where dreams are out of the box, promises take shape and hopes become substance. In the meantime, our deepest aspirations remain on a waiting list, sparks imprisoned in a frustrating and painful present, waiting to be discovered by someone or something who sees them and realizes them for us. The first recommended step is to go to a kind of information office and ask what we have lost. We will find a long line of questions, strange thoughts and extraneous emotions that prevent us from finding the entrance. Then a small spark lights up, a glow of understanding, and we let go of the brain, we enter the lost property department and finally we find the desire of the soul kept in the heart.
