Lion Hunt

Sculptor unknown: Above is my copied excerpt (made in polymer-modified gypsum) from the magnificent Neo-Assyrian 645-635 BC reliefs at Nineveh, now in the British museum. The focus is on King Ashurbanipal in his chariot with his men killing lions. The full wall panels depict a contrived pseudo-hunt in a controlled paddock where the king is bound to win. Ashurbanipal’s PR is long dead and the Asiatic lions gone. But propaganda-driven god-sanctioned overly armed nation states wielding their domination over people and nature persist with more power than ever.

Thus, focus on the wheel. We appear to be in this fucked-up cycle for some time.
