People who live next to a military base.

People who live next to a military base.

Watercolor, Political / Social, Watercolour, 49x61x1cm
This poisoned beauty registers telluric movements in the work of this artist, who resorts to metaphor as a resource that attenuates the derisory of his background; it is his allegory to a society in the process of spiritual mutilation, which enjoys a grotesque and festive existence, alienated by the redoubts of technology as before by religion, politics, ideology and utopian dreams. The artist bets for a meticulous configuration of the scenes, as a resource that enhances a wide expressiveness. While other painters resolve at the level of impasto and carefree chromatic solutions, Ferriol appeals to the neatness of the drawing to articulate his sordid environments.
