These Two Beautiful Colours
I always thought that this flag-solidarity-profile-picture-thing is kinda silly. It does not help anyone.
Yesterday it was difficult not to think about what is happening not too far from here. A lot of worries, sadness and questions no one can answer. So it happened that I decided to paint in order to do something positive. But the thoughts did not stop, as while I was sitting in front of a white canvas, the idea came up to do a landscape in these two beautiful colours.
Doing the process of this painting, which I realized is not much different from the flag-solidarity-profile-picture-thing, I began to understand that it helps. It helps to cope with the difficulty to express and share emotions. What shall we all do? Write essays about what is happening to the world, although we have no clue ourselves? The flag is a way to share all these feelings. It’s like: “Ukraine...” “Yeah, I know...”. And everything is said.
