A walk through the garden of our history

Watercolor, Political / Social, Watercolour, 91x65x1cm
The fact that Ferriol prefers to work in watercolor has a rational explanation. It is not a whim but the way in which the artist identifies and discovers himself in this technique. Doing watercolors produces in Ferriol a state of ecstasy, which has much to do with the challenge of facing the blank cardboard, and the risk involved in its realization. It is also the way in which the artist identifies himself in the world of creation, something that makes him different and peculiar. At the same time, there is his interest in rescuing the watercolor technique for the "great art", so that it is not seen as an auxiliary medium in the process of creating a work, continuing a tradition that deserves to endure in our environment.
