My childhood memories, grandparents' tales, old photographs and a lot of imagination, are the main ingredients of this painting, the largest I have ever made to date. It speaks of distant times, of an oil mill along the Corvino stream, of the land of the ancestors between Diamante and Buonvicino (CS), of a rich land, of the industriousness of the past and of the present, thanks to my cousin Roberto who managed with his family to keep that paradise alive through a restaurant built over the mill.
