BACCHA

The Full Moon, the Night, the Wine Ritual and Enjoyment. Nature, ancient myths to which I am fond and have always been fascinated, I painted this work for the M.A.U., Turin's Urban Art Museum which offers a path of various works in the Campidoglio district. I dedicated it to the power of the feminine and our classical myths: Baccha a female attendant of Bacchus, who, in company with Silenus and the Satyrs, celebrated the festival of that deity with a raving madnes. The work, painted following the approval of various sketches, made on a metal plate, was installed by Alberto Garino in July 2023, the official inauguration will take place in September with the presentation of 2 other works by the MAU Artistic Director Edoardo by Mauro
