Sellostein

I created this using shadows of my own fingerprints. It relates to Plato's allegory of the cave, and to quantum physics. The shadow represents the unknown or the unseen. I like the way my fingerprints look abstact and alien, because the closer we look at things, the more alien their character and behaviour become. At the smallest scale, atoms have proved to defy Newton's laws of physics
