the Park and the pond of the Hardenberg Castle
( Essen-Velberg, DE)were "invaded" by big transparent plastic drops, each one containing a coloured, irreverent, frenzy, frenetic, insect-like photovoltaic robot beating its legs and whirling its head thus producing rhythm and projecting highlights: these restless creatures move endlessly and go on playing from dawn to sunset, on clouded days too.
Made up of burnt-out CD-ROMs, recycled silicon cells, plexi glass, fabric fibre and electric copper wires, these creatures want to be an aesthetic reflection, an artistic point of view on how future robots will look like.
