How To Read Rorschach, version 3

This title designates a series of work, or versions, viewed in one sense as a single painting, which is continuously reinvented, or as a group of paintings construed as parts or multiples of each other. It's as if the painting does not stop at its own borders, but discovers new aspects of itself within a parallel setting.

In How to Read Rorschach the various versions are more closely akin to painterly notations. The marks look fleetingly instant – a moment’s action or thought – it is only on closer inspection when one can realise that these marks have been slowed down, considered and layered to produce their effects.
