LINARI LUIGI fucilato a 17 anni dai Nazisti per futili motivi - 2

Painting, Human figure, Acrylic, 100x100x3cm
The image echoes an infamous event but forgotten over time. The photo immortalizes a moment, a broken life removed from history. This is the story of my great-uncle who had the misfortune to find a rifle in Lanuvio campaigns during the armistice. Some "doormat of power" having seen him play with the weapon went to report the incident to Police. The following night he was joined by the Nazis in his home that very easily (given its purity) came to deliver the gun. He was jailed in Grottaferrata. Neither he nor his family were able to convince "the army of evil" of his innocence, there was nothing to do, had decided that he would die. On January 13, 1944 in retaliation the Nazis took the prisoners in the cemetery of Grottaferrata, and after have made them dig a moat were shot on the edge of the pond. The dead were: MARCH D'ALESSIO 19 years, Gianbattista OF MARCO 36 years, 17 years LINARI LUIGI, ANGELO CAESAR TROMBETTA (father and son) 47 and 22 years, 20 years ANGELO VARESE, Alberigo VENANZO 35 years, 20 years THOMAS Zimei .
