The performance “shoes and soul”created and directed by Michele Marinaccio, has been presented in two different moments- January-February 2010-inside the Orientale Art Museum in Rome.
La mise en scène concerned with a defilee od models who were invited to wear historic artistic samples of shoes (for theatre)
Until the end of their performance the same models ignored the “origins/biography”of the shoes, (which were real artistic shoes previously put on by famous movie, tv, or theatre stars) No suggestions to the models who were invited to choose their favourite shoes showing their feelings and attraction for the shape and frame...
Later, each model started walking spontaneously among the archeologico ruins interpreting and performing the pecularity of the shoes as a character and expressing personal and imaginative movements inspired emotionally by the “female being” and so giving to the performance richness in movements, close gestures able to show thoghts, wishes, and fragments of the past life.
