popularity breeds contempt
To rationalize is to question oneself and find the original drive, often obscured by an otherwise distracting behaviour.
My panels often present such “labyrinths” that confer outlooks and intents to an apparently rational drive, diverse from the real one that thus remains hidden. The continuous, almost obsessive iconic overlapping becoming part of the background, free of subjective references assumes itself an objective nature, leaving each viewer free to discover his view of mine.
Above all, I believe in art as an “historical presence”.
My commitment as an artist is to be the chronicler of my era and it’s events, sketched notes on collective society, customs and traditions.
Every work of mine says: “I was here”.
