Rebirthing Memories
Our memories convey structure and meaning to an in itself inert material. Experiences stored in memory awaken our mind, building complex connections again.
The watching camera eye, just like a human eye, shows the three-dimensional structure of the VHS tapes in videoprojection, evoking images and sounds contained in them.
The continuous transition between the neural architecture and the architecture of the magnetic tapes gives origin to a dialogue. The mind watches itself again through its experiences. Memories develop their shapes, they expand themselves moving from a two to a three-dimensional space, thus creating a neuron-like structure.
