During the last years, Sheila has been attracted from the the geisha character strident contradiction and she wants to point out the difference between fictitious and naturalness.
While the geisha wears her mask, she does not reveal her real identity. That’s the reason why Sheila in her paintings approaches with some colour spots, and she shows them disfigured and scratched.
Her technique is amazing, She paints both outdoors and indoors, so that the artist and the atmospheric agents share their artwork. The atmospheric agents like a song, damp down the colours, interact with the characters, let a a sense of distance, loneliness, poetry.
