'Continuum' is a 3D computer-generated printed image that is laminated onto MDF to form tiles that make up a floor installation. The Images are Stereoscopic and seen in 3D using Red/Blue Glasses. The floor is printed with a pattern of a fragmenting earth that, as it fractures and separates, reveals the city's essence beneath. The pattern that is formed is punctuated by the architecture of the environment that it envelops, creating incidents within the space that are accentuated by the 3D stereo effect. The installation exists as both a flat image and a multi-planed reality, that is performed by the viewer during the act of putting on the glasses and perceiving another dimension within the work.
