3 of us
One human is made from 2 different peoples arms, pinned together with stainless steel rods. This is then held in position by a man made artificial 'magic arm'.
Within this series of works; I wanted to open a conversation through using static objects, that make us reflect on our view of ourselves within the movement of time.
We think we live forever and what we make is temporary, however the inverse is the truth. Our actions last deep into the future, whilst our body degrade within an organic cycle, that is often beyond our perceptual reach.
By joining human bones into a permanent position [often more than one person's in any one object], enforces a conversation and deeply challenges our individual perception towards permanency.
